September - October is pumpkin and corn maze time Church Groups Youth groups love the maze! There are so many parallels between the maze and life. Losing your way, making the right choices, peer pressure, light & darkness and so many more.
Scouts are navigators from the start. Maize-o-Vision is our trademarked map revealing system. It allows groups to see the map at key areas of the maze, but once the map is removed it becomes hidden again! The scouts must navigate from station to station by memory. It’s a great activity for early in the fall scouting season. A trip to Cox Farm Corn Maze brings troops together and gives older scouts a chance to help younger scouts learn the ropes.
Schools Teachers love the maze. Many teachers find the maze a useful early fall trip to bring the class together, or teach kids to work together on a project. Parents love chaperoning to Cox Farm Corn Maze trip because its fun! Teamwork is an important lesson for kids today at any age.
The theme is the most important educational component of the maze. The theme relates to each part of the maze from pathways to game sheet. Kids answer questions related to the theme by finding clues in the corn. The questions change every year, so teachers can visit each year without information getting stale. Classes can visit each year even as they progress through grades in school because the maze is never the same twice!

Is it safe? Our Cox farm Staff work hard to ensure our visitors’ safety. We patrol the maze,hire security for busy nights and/or work extra staff for busy days. We believe that our farms should be a haven for our guests; an environment in which you can forget the worries of the outside world and rejoice in the simple pleasures of the farm.
